He is a member of French SEE and senior member of the IEEE EMC society. Etienne SICARD is the author of several books, as well as software for CMOS design (Microwind), EMC of ICs signal processing (MentorDSP), speech therapy (Vocalab) and EMC of integrated circuits (IC-EMC). His research interests include several aspects of integrated circuits (ICs) for improved electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and the development of tools for speech processing applied to speech therapy. He is a visiting professor at the electronic department of Carleton University, Ottawa, in 2004. Previously a professor of electronics in the Department of Physics, University of Balearic Islands, Spain (1990), Etienne SICARD is currently a professor at INSA of Toulouse, France, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He was granted a Monbusho scholarship and stayed 18 months at Osaka University, Japan (1988-1989). He received the B.S degree in 1984 and the PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toulouse, in 1987, in the laboratory LAAS of Toulouse. © Copyright 1997-2010 by INSA Toulouse, University of Toulouse, FRANCEĪbout the author Etienne SICARD was born in Paris, France, June 1961. System Information report written at: 08/13/12 18:41:16 I'm wondering if it might be an issue with the ATI graphics card software upgrade from boinc. Turning off the screen saver altogether seems to solve the problem. I installed new versions of System Mechanic and ccCleaner at about the time the problem started, but it persisted after I uninstalled those. I tracked it down to the screensaver by setting the time before it kicks in to 1 min and sure enough, when the min. For the last two or three days (not sure exactly when it started), I get a blue screen of death crash and automatic reboot on my Win7 quad AMD 8 GB RAM system whenever the boinc screensaver starts up.
